SPATIO Room, to my ears, rules above all the other small room verbs…I’m now using this on pretty much everything. It adds just the right amount of presence to a sound without being obvious or overbearing. Whatever you did, it just works.
I particularly like the plates – they’re nice and silky with voice, and aggressive with snares – but the halls are equally satisfying…This fine-sounding reverb is versatile enough that you’re bound to find something that works for you among the 47 presets. If not, a little tweaking will get you there
The GUI is very nice and the sound is excellent!!!! Both Limiter and Compressor have really good algorithms!!!!! I tried lots of compressors within the last 3 months, only the ones from Waves comes near to yours. Very good work!!!!!
In practice, both equalizers performed admirably, and the sound quality is excellent, if not totally uncolored. AnwidaSoft have done an excellent job with these units. They look sharp, and sound great. The CPU usage is low enough to run a number of them on different channels. When I need a quality EQ, I find that I am repeatedly turning to these guys. …you might certainly want one or both of them, as they take some of the guesswork out of the everyday EQ tasks, and may sound better than the EQs that came bundled with your host. No matter what your host is, if your current equalizer seems overly confusing to you, these might just be a necessity.
…ANWIDA delivers what it promises…The sound is consistently transparent, and the signal dynamic range compresses smoothly even at extreme settings. In our tests, for example, we found that the CX1V is effective in softening transients, such as from drum kits, without adding any coloration. Sometimes the transparency was so effective overall that we often checked to make sure the compressor was active…Since most musicians are usually concerned with compression rather than expansion of dynamic range, it is easy to forget that the CX1V is also an expander. However, the expansion capability worked just as well and displayed the same virtues of transparency and smoothness…In addition, the demand on CPU usage is very low, which means that on most computers there should be little problem running as many instances of the CX1V as needed for multi-track recording. In general, this uncomplicated, straightforward compressor/expander is a reliable workhorse. It does the job it’s supposed to do, and it does it very well.
…the plugs are working very well, responding perfectly to heavy automation with virtually no CPU drain. Excellent work!
